New! State Testing Can Now Be Completed Virtually 

We’re excited to announce a major update for Missouri Virtual Academy (MOVA) families: state testing can now be done virtually! 

This change gives families more flexibility by eliminating the need to travel to a physical testing site. We understand that this is especially beneficial for families in rural areas or those with limited transportation, making an important part of the academic year much more accessible. 

Key details: 

• All MAP tests (3rd–8th grade) and high school EOC exams will be taken online. 

• Some students may still be required to complete mandatory special education testing in person. 

• Tests still meet all Missouri state standards and requirements. 

Our goal is to remove barriers and offer students a high-quality online education with support systems that work for them, and this update is a major step in that direction.
